Sandford C. Frisch, M.D.

Dr. Sandford Frisch has been practicing in Lancaster since 1988. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University. He received his medical degree from State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. He performed his internship at Staten Island Hospital, Staten Island, NY. Dr. Frisch completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York City. He received additional training as a Glaucoma Fellow at Mt. Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Frisch is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology, Pennsylvania Medical Society, and the Lancaster County Medical Society.

Dr. Frisch takes every opportunity to continue his education by attending seminars and medical programs that teach and review ophthalmology techniques. He also provides education to our patients, community groups and organizations in Lancaster County.

Dr. Frisch is married and has three children.

Manqian (Amy) Tu, O.D.

Dr. Amy Tu provides comprehensive vision care and contact lens fittings to adults and children. She has a strong academic background in visual science research and has published a number of scientific articles in Ophthalmology journals.

In 1991, Dr. Tu received her MD from the Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University in China with a specialization in Ophthalmology. In 2002, she graduated from the Accelerated Doctor of Optometry Program at the New England College of Optometry (Boston, MA). There she was awarded the William R. Baldwin Scholastic Achievement Award.

In 2017, Dr. Tu received a master’s degree in healthcare administration from George Washington University. Dr. Tu’s broad medical and academic experience gives her special insight into a patient’s vision needs while enhancing the doctor-patient relationship.

In her spare time, Doctor Tu enjoys cooking, traveling reading and art.
